Job summary

N Family Club in Kingston upon Thames is seeking an Assistant Educator to assist in a dynamic, education-focused nursery environment. You will learn the N Curriculum and support a team delivering learning through play, guiding each child with confidence and independence.

No prior experience required; you’ll complete induction and access training including Paediatric First Aid and Safeguarding. A positive attitude, high energy, and love for service drive daily success and growth.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Deliver our ‘learning through play’ ethos and our N Curriculum with care and flair.
• Follow our daily routine and ensure smooth transitions from mealtimes to naptimes to playtimes.
• Support the planning of innovative, challenging learning experiences that encourage child development.
• Support with high-quality observations, assessments, and planning for key children.
• Help supervise mealtimes in line with N’s safety policies.
• Complete daily health & safety checks thoroughly, escalating concerns where needed.
• Build strong, trusting relationships with parents.
• Embed all policies and procedures into your daily practice.
• Make sure every area is kept clean and tidy throughout the day.
• Help with day-to-day tasks that keep the nursery running smoothly.
