Job summary

N Family Club in Camberwell, London, is hiring an Assistant Educator to support a team in delivering exceptional early years care and education. You will help implement the N Curriculum, foster creativity, and guide children to explore the world with confidence.

You’ll learn from experienced educators, participate in inductions, and grow professionally within a fast-paced nursery that values development and family engagement.

Qualifications

• You don’t need prior experience in a similar role, just genuine passion for education and changing children’s lives.
• Induction and opportunities for training including Paediatric First Aid, Safeguarding and Child Protection, and the chance to gain Level 2/3 EY qualification.

Responsibilities

• Deliver the learning through play ethos and our N Curriculum with care and flair.
• Follow the daily routine and ensure smooth transitions between meals, naps and play.
• Support planning of innovative, challenging learning experiences that promote child development.
• Assist with high-quality observations, assessments and planning for key children.
• Help supervise meals in line with N’s safety policies.
• Complete daily health and safety checks thoroughly, escalate concerns when needed.
• Build strong, trusting relationships with parents.
• Embed all policies and procedures into daily practice.
• Keep each area clean and tidy throughout the day.
• Assist with day-to-day tasks that keep the nursery running smoothly.
