Job summary

Ealing Council is recruiting an Assistant Educational Psychologist to join the Educational Psychology Service in London. You will contribute to early identification and intervention for children with SEND, under supervision, and support delivery of training and workshops in schools and settings.

The role offers full-time hours (35 per week) with opportunities to work across birth to 25 years, collaborate with health colleagues and SEN officers, and develop practice through strong supervision and

Qualifications

2 years of experience with teachers/educational professionals in an education setting.
Experience with individuals or groups of CYP with additional and complex needs.
Bachelor’s degree in Psychology providing Graduate Basis for Chartered membership (BPS).
Master’s degree in Education/Inclusion/SEND is desirable but not essential.
Commitment to apply for the doctorate in Educational Psychology after a successful first year with EPS.

Responsibilities

Support early identification and intervention for CYP with SEND under EP supervision.
Deliver training and facilitate workshops in schools and settings.
Build strong partnerships with children, families, and professionals across settings.
Contribute to assessments and reviews at the SEN support level and support birth-25-year scope.
