Job summary

City of Doncaster Council is recruiting Assistant Educational Psychologists to join the Educational Psychology Service in Doncaster. The role involves supporting psychologists to promote inclusion, wellbeing and positive outcomes for children and young people across schools and settings.

Two posts are available: Permanent, Full-time 37 hours per week and Temporary, Full-time 37 hours per week, with a competitive Soulbury salary scale and enhanced DBS checks required.

Qualifications

• Enhanced DBS disclosure is required for appointment.

Responsibilities

• Assist Educational Psychologists in promoting inclusion, participation, wellbeing and positive outcomes for children and young people.
• Contribute to consultation, assessment, intervention, training, project work and service development.
• Support development of inclusive and neurodiversity-affirming practice across educational settings.
• Participate in Pyramid Planning Meetings and collaboration with schools, health, social care and families.
