Job summary

Liverpool University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is seeking an Assistant Domestic Manager for the Aintree Site. You will allocate tasks to the domestic supervisory team, liaise with Ward Managers and attend meetings to support clear communication with managers and service users.

You will monitor staffing levels, ensure health and safety compliance, and oversee equipment safety through regular testing. Flexibility and commitment to training are essential for successful operations.

Qualifications

• Allocate tasks to domestic supervisory team and manage service delivery.
• Liaise with Ward Managers to resolve difficulties and maintain relationships.
• Attend meetings with Control of Infection, Matrons and Sitemanagement to facilitate communications with managers and service users.
• Conduct regular Supervisor 1-1 meetings to cascade aims to staff.
• Control staffing worked hours and keep labour within master rota.
• Ensure Health and Safety compliance including investigations into accidents and risk assessments.
• Ensure machinery is safely maintained via annual portable appliance test.
• Develop local work schedules with clear written instructions.
• Assist the Domestic Services Manager with day-to-day management of external contracts.
• Be flexible in working hours to sustain operational demands.
• Ensure mandatory training completed.
• Ensure staffing levels per master rota.
• Undertake projects with multidisciplinary teams to evaluate new methods and initiatives.
• Any other reasonable request.

Responsibilities
