Key Responsibilities
  • Create, and ensure there is, a safe, welcoming and inclusive environment where everyone plays as a team and can achieve their full potential, promoting the N Family Club culture and values
  • Be the Designated Safeguarding Lead in the absence of the Nursery Manager and Deputy Manager
  • Model outstanding care and education
  • Support the Deputy Manager to ensure high-quality education in line with N Pedagogy and Curriculum, including self-evaluation and compliance measures
  • Plan and manage daily routines, learning experiences, staffing ratios, and rotas
  • Oversee health and safety, risk assessments, and EYFS statutory requirements
  • Review policies and practices to promote continuous improvement
  • Encourage professional development through feedback, coaching, and training
  • Build strong relationships with parents and manage staffing logistics
  • Assist with personnel procedures, invoicing, and funding queries
  • Uphold safeguarding procedures and child welfare standards
  • Maintain high standards of cleanliness throughout the nursery
  • Foster a positive, diverse, and respectful working environment
  • Adhere to health and safety policies
  • Support nursery operations with ad-hoc tasks to ensure smooth functioning
