Job summary

Hopscotch Day Nurseries Ltd in Maidstone is seeking an Assistant Cook to join our Harbourside Nursery team and the onsite Cafe. You will support the Nursery Cook in preparing meals for the children and may step into the Cook position when needed, while helping keep the Harbourside Cafe stocked with fresh sandwiches and items.

This part-time role runs Monday–Friday 11:00–16:40 (27.5 hrs/week year-round). Starting salary is £18,304 per year based on 27.5 hours.

Qualifications

Job description

We are currently seeking a dedicated Assistant Cook to join our nursery team working between our Harbourside Nursery and the onsite Cafe. In this role, you will support our Nursery Cook, in preparing food for the children in the nurseryand step into the Cooks position when needed as well as supporting the Harbourside Cafe with keeping up the stock of fresh sandwiches, sausages.

Position Details:

• Part-time: Monday – Friday 1100-1640, (27.5 hrs week 52 weeks a year) Hours would differ when covering the Nursery Cook
