The Role

We are seeking an experienced and proactiveAssistant Commercial Managerto support our commercial function on live construction projects. You’ll be working remotely but closely with our team, providing QS-related support from early cost planning to post-contract duties.

This is a great opportunity for someone with a strong commercial mindset, looking to take ownership within a small and collaborative consultancy environment.

What We’re Looking For

You must have:

• 3–4 years of experienceas an Assistant Quantity Surveyor, Trainee QS, or in a Commercial Management role within the UK construction industry
• ABSc in Quantity Surveying or Commercial Management(or working towards it)
• Practical experience onresidential, refurbishment, or mixed-use projectsvalued between £500K and £40M
• The ability toread and interpret contracts(JCT and NEC preferred)
• Confidence managing cost reporting, tender processes, valuations, and working closely with lead commercial managers
• A highlyorganized, self-motivatedwork ethic with strong communication skills

Ideal Background

We’re particularly interested in individuals who:

• Have supported £20M+ new build residential or refurbishment projects from start to finish
• Have experience infacades, education, leisure, or commercial fit-out
• Enjoy working autonomously with weekly reporting to a senior or offsite commercial lead
• Are open tofreelance/contracted work, but value long-term consistency
