Job description

Job Title: Commercial Contract Support

Reporting to the Commercial Manager, this role will assist in all aspects of the commercial, financial, and contractual management of FM Contracts. The role requires building good working relationships across operational, support, and client teams to ensure service delivery, financial performance, and contractual governance are maintained.

Main Duties & Responsibilities:
  1. Assist with managing the contracts' commercial processes, working closely with operations to drive value while ensuring compliance.
  2. Develop a thorough understanding of the contracts to ensure adherence to obligations and governance.
  3. Support the administration of contract variations, early warnings, service manager instructions, and other contractual mechanisms, liaising with the customer's commercial team to resolve issues.
  4. Assist in preparing and submitting contract variations, ensuring proper identification, pricing, and persuasive arguments for payment.
  5. Support the compilation and submission of client reconciliations and returns, ensuring accuracy and transparency.
  6. Assist the Commercial Manager with the timely submission and agreement of monthly payment applications and reconciliations.
Professional Qualifications and Experience:
  • High level of commercial awareness and enthusiasm for driving financial performance.
  • Effective communication skills at senior management level.
  • Experience managing complex stakeholders and relationships.
  • Understanding of CCS and NEC4 frameworks in the facilities management sector.
  • Experience in pricing contract variations.
Additional Information:

This is a home-based role with occasional attendance at meetings on a national basis.
