Job summary

Aldwych Consulting Ltd invites applications for an Assistant Civil Engineer to join the Cambridge team. The role focuses on supporting the design of highways, drainage and infrastructure schemes, with exposure to S278/S38 projects and development of design packages.

You will work with experienced engineers, progressing towards ICE accreditation while developing client relationships and taking on increasing responsibilities on varied infrastructure projects.

Qualifications

• HND, BEng, MEng, MSc or equivalent qualification in Civil Engineering.
• At least 2 years' consultancy experience in civil engineering.
• Experience in highways, drainage and infrastructure design.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and Civil 3D, or equivalent design software.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
• Interest in ICE professional accreditation.

Assistant Civil Engineer - Cambridge

The Opportunity

An established, award-winning civil engineering and transport planning consultancy is looking to appoint an Assistant Civil Engineer to join its growing Cambridge team.

This is an excellent opportunity for an engineer with at least 2 years' consultancy experience to develop their technical skills across a varied portfolio of development and infrastructure projects, covering highways, drainage and wider infrastructure design.

You'll work alongside experienced engineers, gaining exposure to projects from initial design through to delivery, with opportunities to take on responsibility, develop client relationships and progress towards ICE professional accreditation.

The Role
