Renaissance Care Limited is seeking an Assistant Chef to join our care home team in Scotland, assisting the Head Chef to prepare nutritious meals tailored to residents' dietary needs and preferences. This role emphasizes a hospitality-style dining experience with a focus on flavour and nutrition.

You will operate on a bank contract across Croftbank, Rosepark and Whitecraigs, ensuring hygiene standards, resident engagement, and ongoing menu development within COSHH and HACCP guidelines.

Qualifications

• Experience in cooking for care home residents.
• Understanding of dietary requirements and modified textures.
• Ability to work as part of a kitchen team and follow recipes.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve meals for residents during dining service.
• Assist Head Chef with menu planning and stock control.
