Job summary
Octane Recruitment Ltd is seeking an Assistant Centre Manager for a fast-fit automotive centre in Blandford. You will work with the Centre Manager to run daily operations, optimise workflow, and support the workshop team in achieving customer service and commercial targets.
Applicants should have automotive industry experience; the role welcomes those stepping up to management. OTE is approx £6,000 per annum, with a 08:30–17:30, Mon–Fri schedule and Saturday rota.
Qualifications
- Background within the Automotive industry is essential.
- Experience managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong organisational and commercial awareness with a hands-on approach.
Responsibilities
- Support the Centre Manager with day-to-day running of the centre.
- Coordinate workshop staff and manage daily workflows for efficiency.
- Maintain strict stock and inventory controls.
- Guide, coach and mentor workshop mechanics to achieve customer satisfaction.
- Step into the workshop to assist technicians when required.
- Support achievement of commercial sales KPIs and overall centre performance.
- Handle customer enquiries and develop local accounts.
- Ensure workshop compliance and high operational standards.
