Virtual Talent is recruiting an Assistant Care Manager for a Gloucester-based homecare provider. This role focuses on overseeing daily operations, care plans and client reviews while supporting field teams and on-call duties.

The ideal candidate brings care management experience, NVQ 3 in Health & Social Care, and strong organisational and communication skills to ensure high-quality, compliant care in the community.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care or equivalent qualification.
• Experience in domiciliary care is strongly preferred.
• Strong knowledge of care planning, safeguarding and CQC requirements.
• Excellent organisational and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day domiciliary care service operations.
• Oversee care plans, client reviews, and documentation.
• Coordinate visit schedules, rotas and priorities.
• Build relationships with clients, families and care staff.
• Support quality assurance, safeguarding, audits and CQC compliance.
• Identify process improvements to raise service quality.
• Utilize digital care systems to improve efficiency.
• Collaborate with Registered Manager to resolve issues.
• Participate in on-call rota and support field care.
• Provide frontline care delivery when needed.
