Job summary

Compass Group UK&I is seeking an experienced Assistant Cafe Manager to oversee cafe operations for a major High Street brand on a full-time basis (40 hours/week). You will ensure kitchens and service counters run smoothly, lead a team and deliver exceptional food experiences.

Key responsibilities include supervising inventories and budgets, managing tills, training staff, and maintaining brand standards while embodying excellent customer service and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Liaise between the team and manager to continually exceed expectations.

• Assist with inventories, budgets and action plans.
• Manage tills and process payments efficiently.
• Support and train teams, leading from the front.
• Assist with paperwork as required.
• Represent Compass Group UK&I and maintain a positive brand image.
