Project Centre is seeking an Assistant Bridge Engineer to join our Structures team in London. If you have 1–2 years' civil engineering experience and want to progress into bridge engineering, this is an ideal opportunity.

You'll assist with bridge design, assessments and inspections, producing calculations and drawings while learning UK design standards. Hybrid working and a supportive team are on offer.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Civil Engineering.
• 1–2 years experience in a Civil Engineering role.
• Experience supporting design, assessment or inspection of UK bridges and civil structures.
• Knowledge of structural mechanics and its application to highway structures.
• Understanding of Eurocodes, UK design standards and relevant industry codes of practice.
• Knowledge of bridge and civil structure analysis methods.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Understanding of health and safety legislation and risk management principles.
• Awareness of sustainability principles within engineering.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience delivering technical engineering tasks and working safely on projects.

The Role

What We're Looking For

3. Experience supporting the design, assessment or inspection of UK bridges and civil structures.

The nice to have’s

1. Knowledge of AutoCAD, MiDAS, TEDDS and SBD software.
2. Understanding of the Construction (Design and Management) Regulations 2015 (CDM).
3. Experience supporting budget or resource management.
4. Experience incorporating sustainable engineering solutions into projects.
