Job summary

Amey Ltd in Bristol is seeking a Bridges and Civil Structures Graduate to join a team delivering UK and international projects across transportation, water and energy. You will learn from experienced engineers and contribute to meaningful work from day one.

You will undertake structural analysis, develop 3D models and technical drawings, assist with inspections and health monitoring, and contribute to data-driven, digital solutions that shape infrastructure.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s, Master’s or PhD in Civil or Structural Engineering – (Minimum Grade 2:1)
• An interest in bridges / civil structures
• A commitment to sustainable development.

Responsibilities

• Be part of an experienced team, working on exciting UK and international projects.
• Help develop practical, sustainable solutions for bridges and civil structures; from investigation to optioneering, feasibility, concept and detailed design, construction supervision and asset management.
• Undertake structural analysis, design and assessment calculations.
• Develop carbon and cost estimates, 3D models, drawings and technical documents.
• Assist with bridge inspections, investigations, structural health monitoring, and supervision of works

Our bridges and civil structures team work across a range of sectors including transportation, water and energy. Our clients include National Highways, Transport Scotland, Network Rail, Welsh Government, Department for Infrastructure, MOW Bahamas, Local Authorities and D&B Contractors. We have multiple long-term contracts and continue to grow and expand into new regions and markets. Recent / ongoing projects include:

What you’ll be doing

As a Bridges and Civil Structures Graduate you will:
