Job summary

ESS in the United Kingdom is seeking an Assistant Branch Manager to support the Branch Manager in running the branch day-to-day, ensuring assets are available for hire and delivered on time, and coordinating workshop activities to keep assets in good working order.

You will lead a team to deliver excellent service, drive training, manage administration, and uphold compliance, with a focus on accuracy, effective relationship building and resilience under pressure.

Job description

• As our Assistant Branch Manager in ESS you will provide full support to the Branch Manager, ensuring the efficient running of the branch on a day to day basis.
• You will need to ensure our assets are available for hire when customers need them, to deliver and collect safely on time, every time. Working closely with the workshop ensuring all assets are in good working order and any repairs are managed effectively.
• The role of Assistant Branch Manager is also pivotal in ensuring that the whole team are able to deliver this exceptional service to the customers.
• Assisting in the compliance of the branch and supporting all administrative duties.
• Ensuring branch colleagues are trained and developed effectively to be able to carry out their roles.
