STARK Building Materials UK is seeking an Assistant Branch Manager for the Newcastle upon Tyne branch. You will take a hands-on leadership role in daily branch operations, delivering excellent customer service and building strong relationships with customers and suppliers.

You will manage day-to-day branch activities, support the Branch Manager, and uphold high Health and Safety standards while ensuring efficient stock handling and order processing.

Qualifikationen

• Experience in builders’ merchant or building materials supplier.
• Background in sales, marketing or building materials with ability to grow the business.
• Strong leadership skills to lead a busy branch and support the Branch Manager.
• Hands-on approach with the ability to work alongside the team.
• Strong Health and Safety focus and maintaining branch standards.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Good organisational skills and ability to prioritise workloads.

We are recruiting for an Assistant Branch Manager to join our thriving JPS team in St. Peters, Newcastle upon Tyne, NE6 1AQ.

As Assistant Branch Manager, you will take a hands-on leadership role in the day-to-day running of a busy branch, leading by example, delivering excellent customer service, building strong relationships and taking ownership of branch operations while maintaining high standards of Health and Safety.

What We’re Looking For

• Experience working within a builders’ merchant, building materials supplier or related trade environment is essential.
• A background in sales, marketing or working for a building materials supplier, with the ability to understand customer needs and identify opportunities to grow the business.
• Strong leadership skills, with the confidence to take the lead in a busy branch and support the Branch Manager with daily operations.
• A hands-on approach, with the ability to work alongside the team while ensuring tasks are completed efficiently.
• A strong focus on Health and Safety, with the ability to maintain branch standards and ensure the team works safely.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills, with the ability to build lasting relationships with customers and suppliers.
• Good organisational skills and the ability to prioritise workloads in a fast-paced environment.
