San Carlo Hale is seeking an Assistant Bar Manager to support the smooth operation of the bar and lead shifts in the Bar Manager's absence. This role requires strong organisational skills, a proactive approach, and excellent communication with the team and customers.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Bar Manager in running the bar department.
• Lead on duties when Bar Manager is absent.
• Oversee bartender responsibilities and shift planning.
• Monitor spend per head and control bar costs.
• Organise and run shifts as duty manager month in advance.
• Manage bar stock: wastage, ordering, invoicing, levels.
• Recruit and onboard bar staff; ensure good candidate experience.
• Maintain health and safety policies and licensing compliance.
