Hotel Indigo K West Shepherd’s Bush is launching a pre-opening team and seeks an Assistant Bar Manager to lead daily bar operations, mentor a talented team, and create memorable guest moments with creative flair.

You’ll manage shifts in the Bar Manager’s absence, oversee stock and compliance, and collaborate with Marketing for events while delivering exceptional service in a West London setting.

Qualifications

• Experience as a bar supervisor or assistant bar manager.
• Good eye for service, style, and guest interaction.
• Leadership qualities with ability to motivate a team.
• Strong understanding of bar operations and stock control.
• Knowledge of licensing laws, food hygiene, and safety protocols.
• Hands-on approach with calm, composed presence under pressure.
• Flexible attitude to working evenings, weekends, and events.

Responsibilities

• Support the scene: Assist in managing daily bar operations, ensuring service runs smoothly and standards remain sky-high.
• Lead the shift: Take charge in the absence of the Bar Manager, supervising the team and delivering an exceptional guest experience.
• Stay on top of the details: Help manage stock, deliveries, compliance, and cleanliness behind the scenes.
• Inspire the team: Mentor bartenders, help train new starters, and set the tone for a high-performing bar team.
• Bring the energy: Support events, promotions, and pop-ups with Marketing and Events teams to build bar buzz.
