Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the Bar Manager to support the efficient running of the bar department
- Undertake all Bar Manager responsibilities in their absence
- Perform bartender responsibilities as needed
- Monitor and drive Spend Per Head in your department
- Organise and run shifts as a duty manager
- Manage all Bar consumables, including stock control, wastage, ordering, invoicing, and maintenance
- Maintain a two-week rota for the Bar team, working a month in advance
- Assess staff levels weekly and recruit actively if needed
- Lead all Bar recruitment processes, ensuring an excellent candidate experience
- Oversee onboarding of new staff, including training and CPL compliance
- Maintain an up-to-date Talent Pipeline with training needs and succession plans
- Conduct monthly health checks with action plans and team delegation
- Ensure all Health & Safety policies and legislative requirements are met
Required Qualifications & Experience:
- Experience in a similar role
- Meticulous attention to detail, highly organised, capable of multitasking
- A proactive self-starter with good judgment and ability to work independently
