Job summary

VANRATH is seeking an ambitious finance professional in Northern Ireland to join our growing team. You will assist with monthly management accounts and financial reporting, gaining hands-on exposure to journals, accruals and reconciliations while working closely with senior finance leaders.

The role suits someone nearly qualified in ACCA/CIMA/ACA, with strong Excel skills and experience with ERP systems. A condensed working week and clear progression opportunities are on offer as you advance

Qualifications

• Nearly qualified or in the final stages of ACCA, CIMA or ACA.
• Experience preparing monthly management accounts.
• Proficient with journals, accruals, prepayments and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Strong Excel skills and familiarity with ERP systems.
• Excellent attention to detail and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist with monthly management accounts and financial reporting.
• Prepare journals, accruals, prepayments and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Support month-end and year-end close processes.
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting and variance analysis.
• Produce financial analysis to support business decisions.
• Support audit preparation and maintain robust controls.
• Identify opportunities to improve finance processes and reporting.
• Collaborate with senior finance colleagues on commercial activities.

Salary & Benefits

• Competitive salary in the range of £35,000 - £38,000
• Study support available to help complete ACCA, CIMA or ACA
• Condensed working week: Monday-Thursday, 8:00am-5:15pm
• Only one in four Fridays required to work

• Nearly qualified or in the final stages of ACCA, CIMA or ACA
