Job summary

Eaton Syalon Ltd is recruiting an Assistant Accountant in Nottingham for a hands-on finance role within a busy team. You’ll support the Management Accounts Team and Finance Controller with a structured month-end close process, along with routine transactional tasks.

The ideal candidate is working towards AAT or AAT qualified, has strong Excel skills, and can apply basic payroll and ledgers experience in a fast-paced environment. This is an office-based position with study support.

Qualifications

• Experience in transactional finance with month-end support.
• Payroll processing exposure is a plus.
• Proficient in Excel and ledger tasks.

Eaton Syalon are supporting our Nottingham based client to recruit an Assistant Accountant into their Finance team. As the Assistant Accountant, you’ll work closely with the Management Accounts Team and Finance Controller to support the smooth running of the finance function with a structured month end close schedule.

If you have a background in transactional finance with some month-end support, we'd love to hear from you. If you're able to demonstrate payroll processing experience or previous exposure, that's a big tick in the box for our client!
