Job summary

Eaton Syalon is recruiting on behalf of a Nottingham-based client for an Assistant Management Accountant to join the Finance team. This hybrid role offers a pathway to develop a career in finance with exposure to month-end processes and key reporting.

You will perform balance sheet reconciliations, prepare margin and performance reports, post journals, and support monthly management accounts while liaising with operations and payroll teams to resolve queries and drive improvements.

Qualifications

• Hungry to build a career in finance.
• Experience as an Assistant Accountant or Finance Assistant is suitable.
• AAT studies or pursuing CIMA/ACCA/ACA is encouraged.

Responsibilities

• Balance sheet reconciliations.

• Supporting preparation of monthly management accounts.

Eaton Syalon are working with our Nottingham based client to recruit an Assistant Management Accountant into their Finance team. This opportunity will see the successful candidate given all the tools to develop their finance career long-term.

Responsibilities:

• Balance sheet reconciliations

About You:

We're looking for someone hungry to build a career in finance. You might be in an Assistant Accountant, Accounts Assistant or Finance Assistant role and ready for that next step into an Assistant Management Accountant role. You may be an AAT studier or someone who is in the early/mid stages of CIMA / ACCA / ACA, and keen to continue, while gaining valuable experience to support your studies.

You will have well developed IT skills including confidence using Excel and Interpersonal, you should enjoy building solid working relationships with your team and the wider business and won't be afraid to ask for support if you need it.

This role is ideally suited to a proactive, technically strong accounts professional keen to progress in the future.
