Job summary

Infinity Recruitment Consultancy Limited in Norwich is seeking an experienced Assistant Accountant on a full-time permanent basis working Monday to Thursday 8.30am – 5.30pm and Friday 8.30am – 4.30pm.

You will handle balance sheet reconciliations, monitor debt, report aged debt, and support the monthly management accounts with analysis. AAT level 3 or equivalent is preferred; QBE considered.

Qualifications

• Experience in accounts with balance sheet reconciliations.
• Ability to monitor business debt and report aged debt.
• Support monthly management accounts with analysis.
• Experience processing bonuses and authorising payments.
• Proficient in variance analysis and accruals/prepayments.
• AAT Level 3 or equivalent; QBE considered.

Job description

Our superb client, based in Norwich is seeking an experienced Assistant Accountant to call them on a full-time permanent basis working Monday to Thursday 8.30am – 5.30pm and Friday 8.30am – 4.30pm.

As Assistant Accountant, you will be responsible for balance sheet reconciliation's, monitor any business debt, reporting on aged debt, supporting the management accountants with the compilation of monthly management accounts, providing analytical and financial information, process bonuses and authorisation of payments on a daily basis, variance analysis and processing accruals and prepayments.

To be considered for the role of Assistant Accountant, you will have previous relevant accounts experience, exceptional numeric skills and high attention to detail. You will ideally hold AAT level 3 as a minimum although consideration will be considered for QBE.
