Job summary

RG Consultancy Ltd is assisting a growing business near Altrincham to recruit an Assistant Accountant or Management Accountant to join the finance team. The role offers hybrid working and a generous benefits package.

You will support Record to Report, perform journal postings, assist with month-end close, reconciliations, accruals and prepayments, and contribute to financial reporting and process improvements.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in an R2R, finance administration, accounts or assistant accountant role
• Strong reconciliation skills
• Excellent attention to detail
• Good Excel skills
• The ability to manage deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Strong communication and organisational skills

Responsibilities

• Prepare and post journals as part of the Record to Report process
• Assist with month-end close activities and balance sheet reconciliations
• Process accruals and prepayments and support financial reporting
• Investigate and resolve financial queries and maintain accurate records
• Support process improvement initiatives across the finance function

The Role

Reporting into the finance team, you will play a key role in supporting the Record to Report function and ensuring accurate financial reporting.

• Supporting financial reporting requirements
• Investigating and resolving financial queries
