Job summary

RG Consultancy is working with a successful and growing business to recruit a Management Accountant to join its finance team. You will own the monthly reporting process across multiple entities, delivering insight to support performance and strategy.

You will produce monthly management accounts, budgets and forecasts, and partner with operational managers to improve profitability and controls. Office-based in the Blackburn area with standard hours.

Qualifications

• ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualified, part-qualified or qualified by experience.
• Experience producing management accounts and financial reports.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Advanced Excel skills.
• Experience in multi-site or multi-entity environments.
• Excellent communication with non-finance stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly management accounts for multiple entities within the group.
• Produce profit and loss reports, balance sheets and cash flow statements.
• Deliver monthly reporting packs with detailed financial commentary.
• Analyse variances against budgets, forecasts and prior year performance.
• Assist with annual budgets and regular forecasting cycles.
• Support cash flow reporting and financial planning activities.
• Perform balance sheet reconciliations and ensure accuracy of financial records.
• Provide commercial analysis on revenue, costs and profitability.
• Business partner with operational managers across the organisation.
• Support year-end audits and statutory reporting requirements.
• Identify opportunities to improve reporting processes and financial controls.

RG Consultancy is working with a successful and growing business looking to recruit a Management Accountant to join its finance team.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced management accountant to take ownership of the monthly reporting process across multiple business entities, providing valuable financial insight to support business performance and strategic decision-making.

The Role

Reporting to the Financial Controller, you will be responsible for producing timely and accurate management accounts, budgeting, forecasting and performance analysis across the group. You will work closely with operational managers and senior stakeholders, helping to drive profitability and improve financial performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly management accounts for multiple entities within the group
• Produce profit and loss reports, balance sheets and cash flow statements

About You
