Job summary

RG Consultancy is seeking an experienced Assistant Accountant or Management Accountant to join its finance team near Altrincham. The role offers hybrid working and a strong benefits package.

Reporting into the finance team, you will support Record to Report and ensure accurate financial reporting, including journals, month-end close, reconciliations and financial analyses. This is an excellent opportunity to develop in a supportive environment with clear progression.

Qualifications

• Experience in an R2R, finance administration, accounts or assistant accountant role.
• Strong reconciliation skills.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Good Excel skills.

The Role

Reporting into the finance team, you will play a key role in supporting the Record to Report function and ensuring accurate financial reporting.

• Supporting financial reporting requirements
• Investigating and resolving financial queries
• Maintaining accurate financial records

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

• Previous experience in an R2R, finance administration, accounts or assistant accountant role
• Strong reconciliation skills
• Excellent attention to detail
• Good Excel skills
• The ability to manage deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Strong communication and organisational skills
