Job summary

LGPS Central (LGPSC) Ltd is seeking an Asset Transitions Manager to oversee fund launches and asset transition activity, ensuring robust planning, governance, reporting and documentation across the programme.

The role requires extensive project management experience within financial services, excellent stakeholder engagement, and a focus on risk management and operational readiness. Hybrid working arrangements are offered with a strong emphasis on governance and high-quality deliverables.

Qualifications

• 5+ years’ experience in a project management role, ideally in financial services or regulated environments.
• Excellent IT and MS Office skills including Excel, PowerPoint, Word and knowledge of MS Project.
• Strong written and verbal communication; effective engagement with stakeholders at all levels.

Responsibilities

• Manage the planning, coordination and delivery of fund launches and asset transition activity.
• Engage with internal and external stakeholders on planning, scheduling and delivery.
• Prepare regular reports and updates for Committees, governance forums and client meetings.
• Facilitate planning and readiness meetings with internal and external stakeholders.
• Establish clear requirements, deliverables and roles with third parties.
• Maintain detailed plans, RAID logs and readiness documentation.
• Identify risks, issues, assumptions and dependencies and mitigate accordingly.
• Assure programme documentation for audits and governance checkpoints.
