Job summary

LGPS Central is seeking an Asset Transitions Associate to support planning, governance, reporting and coordination of fund launches and asset transitions. You will maintain transition plans, RAID logs and dashboards, coordinating meetings and readiness across internal and third-party activities.

The role suits someone with PMO or asset transition experience, seeking development within a professional, purpose-led organisation that values hybrid working and strong governance discipline.

Qualifications

• 3+ years’ experience in PMO, project coordination or project support in professional, financial services or regulated environments.
• Excellent organisational and administrative skills with high accuracy.
• Strong understanding of governance, RAID and reporting cycles.
• Ability to manage multiple dependencies and escalate risks appropriately.
• Clear written and verbal communication with stakeholders at all levels.
• Proficient in MS Office and project tracking tools (e.g. MS Project).
• Excellent time management in a dynamic environment; proactive and collaborative mindset.
• Degree level or equivalent experience; PRINCE2 Foundation desirable.

Responsibilities

• Support the planning, coordination and delivery of fund launches and asset transition activity.
• Maintain transition plans, schedules, milestone trackers and dependency logs.
• Manage RAID logs and action trackers with clear ownership and dates.
• Prepare and maintain dashboards and reports for transition and governance meetings.
• Coordinate meetings: scheduling, agendas, minutes, action tracking and follow-through.
• Support readiness tracking across internal, client and third-party activities.
• Monitor progress against timelines, budgets, dependencies and delivery criteria.
• Support collation and quality checking of inputs from internal teams and external providers.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of tools and templates.
