Job summary

LGPS Central Limited is seeking an Asset Transitions Manager to lead the planning, governance and delivery of fund launches and asset transitions across the LGPS Central system. You will coordinate with internal teams and external partners to ensure timely, well-governed transitions, with robust reporting and RAID/logs.

The role requires strong project management experience in financial services or a regulated environment, excellent organisation, and the ability to manage multiple dependencies

Qualifications

• 5+ years' experience in a project management role in financial services or regulated environments.
• Strong planning, governance and reporting skills with attention to detail.
• Excellent written and verbal communication across senior governance and client-facing forums.
• Experience engaging multiple stakeholders and managing dependencies.

Responsibilities

• Manage planning, coordination and delivery of fund launches and asset transition activity.
• Engage with internal and external stakeholders on planning, scheduling and delivery.
• Define transition scope, deliverables, milestones and readiness criteria.
• Prepare reports for Committees and governance forums with clarity and accuracy.
• Facilitate planning and implementation meetings with stakeholders.
• Establish requirements and responsibilities with third parties to ensure alignment with governance.
• Maintain detailed plans, RAID logs, issue trackers and readiness documentation.
• Identify risks and track mitigating actions.
• Assure programme documentation for audits and compliance.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of processes and reporting standards.
