Job summary

Just Group plc is seeking a Transitions Operations Delivery Manager to lead the end-to-end transition management activity from contract signing through implementation handover in a hybrid London/Reigate role.

You will oversee transition teams, manage schemes across routes, coordinate with the Commercial team, and drive data quality, governance and stakeholder engagement with trustees, EBCs and professional colleagues.

Qualifications

• Proven planning and organisational skills with ability to manage multiple scheme transitions.
• Ability to work independently and through others to tight deadlines with accuracy.
• Good understanding of life and pensions, especially DB pensions and de-risking.
• Strong influencing and relationship-management capabilities with trustees and EBCs.
• Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication; capable of external representation.
• Strong analysis, decision-making and escalation skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day delivery of transition teams with clear priorities and capacity-based allocation.
• Collaborate with senior leadership to deliver a consistent transition experience for trustees and EBCs.
• Drive trustee communication and engagement aligned with scheme timelines.
• Ensure data onboarding controls and vetting are completed accurately.
• Coordinate input from transition teams for prospective and in-flight transactions.
• Maintain relationships across the EBC market and provide timely updates to stakeholders.
• Lead and coach the management team, setting objectives and development opportunities.
• Contribute to commercial activity, including RFIs, due diligence and client discussions.
• Oversee project and stakeholder management to final premium calculation and settlement.
• Review data cleanse extension requests and escalation of material risks.
• Coordinate transition input to change and technology initiatives and embed new processes.
• Produce management information for governance and committees.
