A Housing Association has a fantastic permanent opportunity for an Asset Investment Manager working within planned asset management.
The Role
Working as part of the Management Team, you will provide leadership and direction to your team. In this exciting new role, you will take the lead in delivering the wide-ranging annual Asset Investment Plan of approximately £25m through a dedicated team. This will include estate regeneration, component replacement, major works, and special projects—all within social housing. You will have experience with a range of contract delivery models, ensuring customer involvement and prioritizing safety. You will manage a team of 4 direct reports, including 2 building professionals and 1 quantity surveyor.
What you'll need to succeed
The successful candidate will have significant recent relevant social housing maintenance experience at a managerial level, along with professional qualifications in a relevant area. They will have a proven track record of successfully delivering significant and varied work programmes in a public sector or commercial environment. Education to HNC level or equivalent is required, along with experience in the social housing sector, health and safety involving property maintenance and minor works projects, and contract management experience.
What you'll get in return
This is a permanent role with a salary of £56,000, including a Local Government Pension Scheme (employer contribution) plus other benefits.
