Job Description:
  • Conduct site operations in accordance with terms and conditions of program contract and Statement of Work
  • Support overall account strategy to achieve annual operating plan goals for revenue, growth, margin expansion, and account retention.
  • Develop and maintain positive and professional working relationships with clients, service vendors, and strive for customer satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Support the development of quarterly business reviews and participate in meetings as required.
  • Assist in data collection and analysis of customer metrics including financials, compliance, growth, and profitability.
  • Support action plans and tracking mechanisms to drive continuous improvement.
  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory guidelines related to asset management and services, including inventory management through provided tools.
  • Responsible for accurate data input into the Resource Center database, including service requests, work orders, and purchase orders.
  • Monitor and support service activities and address customer concerns regarding timeliness, accuracy, and quality.
  • Interact with customers and vendors to schedule site service visits.
  • Escort engineers into laboratories, ensuring smooth integration into their work environment.
  • Review field service reports and invoices for accuracy, technical procedures, and completeness.
  • Update the CMMS with current information on onsite assets and service activities.
  • Support problem resolution and address customer concerns as needed.
  • Assist with resolving service or billing issues, including questions or credits, and promote alternate service providers when appropriate.
  • Adhere to all security and safety procedures of Thermo Fisher and the customer.

Minimum Requirements/Qualifications:

  • Relevant science degree or equivalent experience strongly preferred.
  • Experience working with lab equipment is a plus.
  • Previous experience as an account manager, asset manager, lab manager, maintenance manager, or lab equipment specialist.
  • Familiarity with CMMS systems and proficiency in related software for data management.
  • Experience in customer-facing roles is advantageous.
  • Ability to build strong, professional relationships with clients.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills for interacting with engineers, suppliers, and internal teams.
  • Ability to work independently and proactively resolve customer issues.
  • Excellent time management skills and ability to prioritize tasks.
  • Strong problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Working Conditions:

  • May involve passing through areas with chemical allergens such as penicillin or tetracycline.
  • Personal protective equipment such as lab coats, coveralls, hoods, masks, hairnets, and gloves may be required.
  • Some areas may require steel-toe shoes, hard hats, and safety glasses.
