Job summary

Our client, based in the West Midlands, is looking for a Highway Lighting Asset Manager to join and lead a busy team committed to excellence.

Key skills required for this role

Important

This is a contract position with an anticipated start date around April 15, 2024. The role will be reviewed after 6 months, with potential extension based on performance and budget.

As a Highway Lighting Asset Manager, you will oversee electrical, structural, and operational performance of street lighting assets, traffic signs, traffic control systems, tunnel management, fountains, clocks, and lighting service agreements. You will manage and direct performance of lighting and electrical installations.

You will also provide expertise to the Street Lighting team and support performance reviews with the Highway Maintenance & Management Service Provider.

The role is primarily remote but may require attending meetings at various premises, so travel should be expected.

To succeed, you should have highway management experience, strong electrical assets knowledge, and experience working with service providers and managing partnerships.
