Job summary

Cainiao Group seeks an Asset & Facilities Manager to oversee the UK warehouses' asset lifecycle, safety, and maintenance. You will build a local vendor pool, manage procurement processes, and support openings and closures of warehouses with cross-functional teams.

The role requires 1–3 years in asset management or procurement, a Bachelor's degree, and fluency in English (Mandarin is a plus for HQ liaison). UK regulatory compliance and cost control are key responsibilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or above in Engineering, Supply Chain, Logistics, or related fields.
• 1-3 years of relevant experience in asset management, facility maintenance, or procurement; fresh graduates welcome.
• Fluent in English and Mandarin (written & spoken) is mandatory; bridge between UK teams and HQ.

Responsibilities

• Asset & Facility Lifecycle Management: oversee operation, maintenance, and safety of facilities and equipment across UK warehouses; manage full asset lifecycle from intake to disposal.
• Vendor & Cost Management: build/manage local vendor pool for facilities, engineering, and services; handle sourcing, performance evaluation, and lifecycle management; develop cost models to optimize procurement decisions.
• Project Support (Openings & Closures): coordinate resources for new warehouse openings and closures; ensure collaboration with operations, engineering, and procurement teams.
• Procurement & Compliance: assist in procurement processes including demand analysis, RFQs, and contract execution; manage expense verification and payment compliance; ensure facilities/assets meet UK regulatory standards and safety requirements; handle audits and rectifications.

• Asset & Facility Lifecycle Management: Oversee the operation, maintenance, and safety of facilities and equipment across UK warehouses. Manage the full asset lifecycle from intake to disposal, ensuring operational stability and risk mitigation.
• Vendor & Cost Management: Build and manage a local vendor pool for facilities, engineering, and services. Handle vendor sourcing, performance evaluation, and lifecycle management. Develop cost models to optimize procurement decisions and control operational expenses.
• Project Support (Openings & Closures): Coordinate resources for new warehouse openings (site surveys, setup, handover) and closure projects (asset transfer, vendor exit, site reinstatement). Ensure seamless collaboration with operations, engineering, and procurement teams.
• Procurement & Compliance: Assist in procurement processes including demand analysis, RFQs, and contract execution. Manage expense verification and payment compliance. Ensure all facilities and assets meet UK local regulatory standards and safety requirements, handling audits and rectifications.

Qualifications
