Job summary

Cambridge City Council is seeking a detail-focused professional to support the delivery of planned maintenance programmes in a hybrid role with flexible working options in Cambridge. You will manage the tenant alteration process, coordinate Section 20 consultations, and carry out monthly financial audits to ensure contractors are paid accurately and on time.

You will maintain asset and contract information, verify work programmes, and ensure property data reflects completed work across systems,

Qualifications

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• In-depth knowledge of tenant alteration process and Section 20 regulations.
• Experience in data collection, input, analysis and interpretation.
• Strong written and numerical skills with high accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain contract and asset information for planned maintenance.
• Manage tenant alteration applications and coordinate with sections/departments.
• Coordinate Section 20 consultation processes per regulations.
• Carry out monthly financial audits to ensure accurate contractor payments.
• Maintain records and verify work programmes across systems.
• Liaise with contractors and stakeholders; provide general business support.
