Job summary

The University of Law is seeking an experienced Assessment Manager – Results, Progression & Awards to join our Assessments team. You will lead operations across our UK and overseas campuses and online provision, focusing on results, progression, awards and graduation.

The role requires strong leadership, data accuracy, and the ability to work with partners and examiners to ensure high standards. It is a hybrid role with two days on campus and remote work.

Qualifications

• Experience in assessment, student records or course administration.
• Experience in education, knowledge of assessments or student records is preferred.
• Experience leading a team and managing staff.

Responsibilities

• Lead a small team of professionals and manage workload and performance.
• Oversee results publication, progression and awards across the university and partners.
• Supervise Exam and Award Boards, results calculations, transcripts and graduation eligibility.
• Collaborate with programmes, partners and external examiners to ensure marking standards.
• Develop relationships with partners, monitor service levels and drive improvements.
• Provide expert guidance on complex assessment cases, regulations and policies.
• Support integrity of assessments and awards, including misconduct processes.
• Act as a technical expert and superuser for assessment systems (Banner) and design improvements.
