With over 30 years of experience and considerable expertise in fast-track retail refurbishments and construction-related projects, CSS offers a flexible and dynamic service to meet clients' needs and has strategically located field-based staff across the country, ensuring nationwide coverage.

Role Description

We are looking for someone who is friendly and enthusiastic to join our team at Construction Safety Solutions. You must have a professional telephone manner and excellent IT skills with an eye for detail. The ability to work independently and more importantly, as part of a team, is a must. Previous office experience is desirable. Full training will be given.

The role will involve looking after the assessment and training aspect within the company, as well as providing administrative support to our current team of administrators and safety officers. Your administration duties will include but are not limited to:

  • Preparing and sending out the daily assessment report
  • Sending out the 8am assessment emails, checking the Management System for each assessment to confirm that it is required, and sending the assessment.
  • Dealing with client, supplier, and colleague queries via email
  • Sending out Client Assessments
  • Preparing Ad Hoc Client reports, usually by pulling down a CSV file and formatting it to be presentable and understandable.
  • Filing approvals to the server, ensuring checks on the Client portal for correct duties, and providing Principal contractor/Principal designer with portal access
  • Daily use of Word, Excel, creating spreadsheets, SharePoint, and our own internal systems.
  • Compiling information using Microsoft Excel and Adobe
  • Scanning, photocopying, and uploading documents
  • Liaising with Contractors and clients to obtain required project documentation

Other tasks to be undertaken as required:

  • Arrange training, including booking venue, issuing invitations, processing bookings, and certificates
  • Arranging other clients' training as necessary
  • Chasing information, reviewing, and uploading H&S files for a range of clients
  • Managing online training programme

The new applicant must have the following:

  • Good telephone manner (there is no sales required though) dealing with clients and our field-based staff
  • The job requires multi-tasking, thinking for yourself, being prepared to ask questions, working to deadlines, etc.
  • A positive and friendly disposition

Hours are Full time, Monday to Friday (9am - 5pm)

This position is for an immediate start and would suit someone recently out of college or university.
