Job summary

Sammons is seeking an Assembly Operative in Aldershot to join a busy manufacturing team. You will assemble items to exact specifications using hand tools and small components, delivering high-quality results.

Daily duties include measuring, fitting and preparing components, checking finished products, following build instructions, and keeping your workstation safe and tidy. Full training is provided and you will gain specialist assembly skills.

Qualifications

  • Previous assembly, production, manufacturing, workshop or hands-on experience is essential.
  • Excellent dexterity and attention to detail are required.
  • Full training will be provided.
  • Monday to Friday work pattern – no weekends.

Responsibilities

  • Assemble and build items to individual specifications.
  • Work with small components, tools and specialist equipment.

  • Carrying out careful, detailed assembly work.

We are recruiting for an Assembly Operative to join a fantastic client of ours within the retail industry.

This is a brilliant opportunity for someone who enjoys hands‑on, practical work, has excellent attention to detail and would like to learn a specialist skill within an established and supportive team.

The right attitude, good dexterity and a willingness to learn are key. Full training will be provided.

The Role:

Working as part of the assembly team, you will be responsible for helping to build and prepare high-quality equipment to the required specifications. Your day‑to‑day duties will include:

  • Assembling and building items to individual specifications
  • Working with small components, tools and specialist equipment
  • Measuring, fitting and preparing different components accurately
  • Carrying out careful, detailed assembly work
  • Checking finished products to ensure they meet quality standards
  • Following build instructions and specifications
  • Keeping your workstation clean, organised and safe
  • Working closely with the wider team to ensure orders are completed accurately and on time
  • Learning different aspects of the building process as your experience develops
