Job summary

Gill Cooke Personnel Ltd T/A The Recruitment Group is seeking Assembly Operatives for a well-established manufacturing company in Loughborough on a temporary ongoing basis. The role involves light assembly of plastic modules, packing, and supporting the production team with attention to detail and steady hand.

Hours are 40 per week, Monday to Friday with an early finish on Fridays. Overtime is paid at applicable rates. Training is provided; prior experience is not required.

Qualifications

• Experience in assembly or similar hands-on environment.
• Excellent attention to detail and a steady hand.
• Ability to read and follow assembly instructions.
• Good practical skills with basic hand tools.

Responsibilities

• Assembling plastic components and reading/following assembly instructions.
• Carrying out quality checks throughout the process.
• Using basic hand tools correctly and safely.
• Maintaining a safe, tidy and organised working area.
• Working proactively to support the production team.
• Packing finished products ready for dispatch.

Job description

We are currently recruiting Assembly Operatives to join a well-established manufacturing company based in Loughborough on a temporary ongoing basis.

The Assembly Operative role is a hands-on role working within a fast paced warehouse carrying out a variety of tasks from light assembly of plastic modules to packing. The role requires someone with excellent attention to detail, good manual dexterity and a steady hand. The Assembly Operative role does not require previous experince as training is given.

Hours

40 hours per week - Monday to Friday (early finish on Fridays)

Pay Rate

£12.71 - £12.85 per hour

Overtime

Available when required and paid at overtime rates
