Job summary

Proactive Global in Amersham is seeking Assembly Operators to join a busy manufacturing site. Immediate starts are available for suitable candidates.

You will assemble mechanical parts and components, carry out quality checks, and work as part of a team to hit production targets. Prior assembly experience is a plus but not essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in assembly/manufacturing is advantageous but not required.

Job description

We are currently recruiting for a number of Assembly Operators to join a busy manufacturing company based in Amersham. Immediate starts are available for suitable candidates.

The successful candidates will be responsible for assembling mechanical parts and components to a high standard, carrying out quality checks, and working as part of a team to achieve production targets.

Key Responsibilities

• Accurately assemble mechanical parts and components in accordance with specifications and instructions.
• Carry out quality checks to ensure finished products meet the required standards.
• Use hand tools safely and effectively during the assembly process.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues to meet daily production targets.
• Maintain a clean, tidy, and organised working environment.
• Follow all company health and safety procedures and manufacturing guidelines.
• Report any quality issues, defects, or production concerns to the appropriate supervisor.

Skills & Experience

• Previous experience in an assembly, manufacturing, or production environment is advantageous but not essential.
• Ability to confidently use basic hand tools.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
• Good manual dexterity and the ability to follow detailed instructions.
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work effectively as part of a team.
• A positive attitude and willingness to learn.

Additional Information

• Pay: £12.71 - £14.24 per hour
• Hours: Monday to Friday 8.00am-4.30pm
• Start: Immediate starts available for suitable candidates
