Job summary

Proactive Global in St Neots is recruiting an Assembly Operative to join a clean, modern production environment. You will assemble electrical and mechanical sub-assemblies into finished products and perform manual soldering in a hands-on role.

Working hours are Monday to Friday, 8.00am to 4.30pm, with pay between £13.16 and £14.71 per hour. Start date ASAP. Proactive Global is an equal opportunity employer.

Qualifications

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Good manual dexterity and ability to work with small components.
• Experience in electronics and soldering is valuable.
• Reliable with good timekeeping and able to use a computer.

Responsibilities

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a clean, modern production environment, working on the assembly of specialist instrumentation and products.

• Assembling electrical and mechanical sub-assemblies into finished products


• Carrying out manual soldering


• Preparing and applying adhesives, seals and membranes to plastic components


• Filling low-volume specialised liquids into vials and containers


• Operating a range of assembly equipment and tools


• Using digital jigs and fixtures to test components and finished products
