Jacob Thomas Associates is seeking an Assembly Operative to join our client’s busy manufacturing site in Loughborough. The role follows a static shift pattern of 6.00pm–6.00am, Monday to Thursday, with overtime available at the weekends.

You will be involved in producing point of sale displays, quality checking to customer specs, faults finding, and ensuring targets are met. The ideal candidate will be flexible with hours, willing to undertake training, and able to operate a gluing machine and

• Flexible approach to working hours is essential.
• Willingness to undertake further relevant training.
• Experience with glu­ing machines and handheld drills.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.

Responsabilités

• Assist in producing point of sale displays.
• Quality check goods to customer specifications.
• Identify and remove faults at fixed production stages.
• Ensure production meets targets while maintaining accuracy.
• Inspect materials for defects.
• Contribute to updating quality control policies.
• Provide assistance in other departments as needed.

Salary; £16.90 per hour

The Assembly Operative Role;

• Assisting in the production of point of sale displays
• Quality checking goods to customer specification
• Finding and removing faults at fixed stages of production process
• Making sure production is accurate but still adhering to production targets
• Inspecting materials for defects
• Input into updating quality control polices
• Assisting in other departments where necessary
