Job summary

Winner Recruitment is currently looking for experienced Assembly Operatives to join a well-established company in the Tamworth area on a temp-to-perm basis.

Rotating shift pattern: Mon-Thu 6:00am-2:00pm, Fri early finish; Mon-Thu 1:50pm-10:00pm, Fri early finish. You will read drawings, assemble, inspect parts and use hand/air tools, torque wrenches and measuring devices.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years experience working in a similar Assembly and manufacturing environment.
• Must have a keen eye for intricate details for this role.
• You will need to have good communication and written skills.
• Lifting will be involved in this role and you will be stood up most of the working day.

Responsibilities

• Working on a fast paced production line.
• Assembling and inspecting various parts.
• Using hand and air powered tools.
• Using torque wrenches & Measuring devices.
• Reading and following instructions from drawings & manufacturing specs.
• Identifying any scrap or rejects that do not adhere to standards and specifications.
• Suggesting recommendations to improve processes.
• Quality inspect and final visual inspection of all parts.
