Pertemps Gloucester is recruiting Assembly Operatives in Ledbury on behalf of a Herefordshire manufacturing client. The role pays £12.81 hourly on rotating shifts and offers a temp-to-perm contract with full training provided.

You will work on fabrication, assembly, sewing, welding, cutting and packing in a busy production environment. Ideal candidates are hands-on, reliable and able to work both independently and as part of a team, with good attention to detail and the ability to meet

Competenze

• Manufacturing or production experience is desirable but not essential.

About The Role

Pertemps Gloucester (Chiltern) Industrial is recruiting Assembly Operatives in Ledbury on behalf of a manufacturing client. This full time, temp to perm contract pays £12.81 hourly, working rotating shifts of 06:00-14:00 and 14:00-22:00. Duties cover fabrication, assembly, industrial sewing, welding, cutting, slitting and packing, with full training supplied. Applicants should be hands‑on, reliable and comfortable with production tasks; prior manufacturing experience helps but is not essential. The position suits those seeking to develop practical skills within a Herefordshire factory setting, and permanent roles may follow the temporary period.

Pertemps are currently recruiting for Assembly Operatives on behalf of a successful manufacturing client based in Herefordshire. We are looking for motivated, hands on individuals to join a busy production team, with both temporary and permanent opportunities available.

This is a varied role offering the chance to develop a range of manufacturing skills including fabrication, assembly, sewing, welding and packing. Full training will be provided, making this an excellent opportunity for candidates with production experience or those looking to build a career in manufacturing.

Key Responsibilities

The Successful Candidate

• Previous manufacturing or production experience is desirable but not essential.
• Experience in fabrication, assembly, sewing, welding or packing would be advantageous.
• Comfortable working independently and as part of a team.
• Good attention to detail with a focus on quality and accuracy.
• Able to work in a fast‑paced environment and meet deadlines.
• Computer literate and confident using workplace systems.
• Flexible approach to work and willing to learn new skills.
• Strong awareness of Health & Safety requirements.
• Forklift Truck experience would be beneficial but is not essential.
