Job summary

Pertemps Gloucester is recruiting for a Multi Skilled Production Operative in Ledbury on a temp-to-perm basis. The role offers rotating shifts (06:00-14:00 & 14:00-22:00), full training, and opportunities to develop skills in fabrication, assembly, sewing, welding and packing.

Join a busy manufacturing team with a focus on quality, safety, and meeting production targets. Prior production experience is helpful but not essential. forklift experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Previous manufacturing or production experience is desirable but not essential.
• Experience in fabrication, assembly, sewing, welding or packing would be advantageous.
• Comfortable working independently and as part of a team.
• Good attention to detail with a focus on quality and accuracy.
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
• Computer literate and confident using workplace systems.
• Flexible approach to work and willing to learn new skills.
• Strong awareness of Health & Safety requirements.
• Forklift Truck experience would be beneficial but is not essential.

Responsibilities

• Fabric welding, cutting/slitting, industrial sewing, fabrication and assembly work.
• Packing finished products ready for dispatch.
• Operating machinery safely and efficiently.
• Working to production specifications, worksheets and engineering drawings.
• Completing quality checks to ensure products meet required standards.
• Using computer systems for shop floor data collection and works order completion.
• Meeting production targets and customer delivery deadlines.
• Maintaining high standards of housekeeping and workplace organisation.
• Following all Health & Safety procedures and company policies.
