Pertemps Gloucester (Chiltern) Industrial in Ledbury is recruiting Assembly Operatives for a full-time, temp-to-perm role within a Herefordshire manufacturing team. Duties include fabrication, assembly, sewing, welding, cutting, slitting and packing, working from production specifications and drawings with full training provided to build manufacturing skills.

Qualifications

• Experience in manufacturing or production is desirable but not essential.
• Willing to learn new skills and adapt to a varied shop-floor role.

Responsibilities

• Fabric welding, cutting/slitting, sewing, fabrication and assembly work.
• Packing finished products for dispatch.
• Operating machinery safely and efficiently.
• Working to production specifications and drawings.
• Carrying out quality checks and recording results.
• Using shop floor systems for data collection and works orders.
• Meeting production targets and deadlines.
• Maintaining housekeeping and following safety procedures.
