Pertemps is recruiting for a Multi‑Skilled Production Operative in Ledbury. The role covers fabrication, assembly, sewing, welding and packing across multiple production stages, with full training provided.

Qualifications

• Prior manufacturing or production experience is desirable but not essential.
• Experience in fabrication, assembly, sewing, welding or packing would be advantageous.
• Comfortable working independently and as part of a team.
• Good attention to detail with a focus on quality and accuracy.
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
• Computer literate and confident using workplace systems.

Responsibilities

• Fabric welding, cutting/slitting, industrial sewing, fabrication and assembly work.
• Packing finished products ready for dispatch.
• Operating machinery safely and efficiently.
• Working to production specifications, worksheets and engineering drawings.
• Completing quality checks to ensure products meet required standards.
• Using computer systems for shop floor data collection and works order completion.
• Meeting production targets and customer delivery deadlines.
• Maintaining high standards of housekeeping and workplace organisation.
• Following all Health & Safety procedures and company policies.

A Multi‑Skilled Production Operative position is available in Ledbury, paying £12.81 per hour with both temporary and permanent contracts on offer. Working a rotating shift pattern (06:00-14:00 and 14:00-22:00), you will join a manufacturing team where duties span fabrication, assembly, sewing, welding, and packing.
