Job Description:

At Dexory, our autonomous robots are at the heart of what we do. We design, build, and test them in-house at our Wallingford facility, and now we’re looking for a skilled, hands-on Assembly Technician to join our electro-mechanical team. This is a practical, workshop-based role where you’ll be assembling and commissioning robot subsystems and full robot builds to the highest standards. This role will be onsite 5 days a week, and a full UK driving licence is ideal.

Your work will mostly be divided between sub-system and robot assembly.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist in the assembly of complete robots
  • Contribute to research and development projects
  • Support the assembly process through continuous improvement initiatives
  • Support the wider business as needed
  • Work in a technical environment, both independently and as part of a team, with experience in manual build and assembly of complex mechanical and electrical systems
  • Ensure build and preparation of products meet strict schedules and quality standards
  • Inspect, test, and sign off on completed sub-systems for production
  • Follow Health and Safety procedures
  • Adapt to rapid changes and meet tight deadlines with high performance standards
  • Experience in precision manufacturing industries such as motorsport, aerospace, automotive, etc.
